Worship Team
We are passionate about music and God's presence.
Vocalist, Keyboardist/Pianist, Guitarist (Acoustic/Electric), Bassist, Drummer
Purpose:
- To play/sing and play a supportive role in worship leading for weekend services, on-site prayer services and other church events
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To carry a heart of worship as God’s vessel to usher His presence amongst our congregation and to help them experience God in a tangible way during corporate worship
Commitment:
- Frequency of duty will depend on current team capacity and your availability
- All applicants will be auditioned. Those who are selected will be on probation before being scheduled to serve, usually once or twice a month, according to needs
- To attend online worship team prayer on Monday nights (9pm-10pm)
- To attend Saturday afternoon worship rehearsals during duty week (4pm-6pm)
Video Crew and Director
We love seeing service visualised in a purposeful and impactful manner.
Purpose:
- Capture purposeful and meaningful moments relevant to the service/event segments that helps churchgoers/online audience connect to the church
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Crews: Operate one of the video cameras in the Main Sanctuary for weekend gatherings, following direction from the video director.
- Director: Does switching of contents on screens, keeping consistent communication with the camera operators, service manager, and giving direction to the camera team.
Commitment:
- Normally once a month, depending on your availability, preference and current team capacity
- Not required to attend any rehearsal in general, unless specified
Media Tech
We are passionate about creating a seamless visual experience for service.
Purpose:
- Create a positive and meaningful worship experience for churchgoers through timely & purposeful visual content transitions and choices
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Runs the screen contents (song lyrics, sermon slides) via computer during the weekend gatherings, using ProPresenter and PowerPoint under the direction of the Service Manager
- Attention to detail and ability to stay focused are critical for this role
Commitment:
- Normally once a month, depending on your availability, preference and current team capacity
- Not required to attend any rehearsals in general, unless specified
Stage Lighting Tech
We are passionate about creating an atmosphere that matches what God is doing in the different parts of service.
Purpose:
- Create an immersive and non-distracting lighting outlook that is relevant to the worship songlist, atmosphere and service/event segments
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates the stage/house lighting during weekend worship gatherings using a pre-built cue list
Commitment:
- Normally once a month, depending on your availability, preference and current team capacity
- Advised to attend rehearsals in order to program lighting sequences/cues for service/event
Live Sound Tech
We love making service sound good.
Purpose:
- Create a distraction-free worship space where every word is heard with clarity and balanced volume, along with producing the right musical mix of sound
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sound checks, equipment placement, volume and quality of sound during rehearsals and services/events
- Work closely with worship leader, musicians and preacher, ensuring all things audio is executed with excellence
Commitment:
- Normally once a month, depending on your availability, preference and current team capacity
- To attend worship rehearsals when placed on duty
Usher
We love meeting and connecting with people.
Purpose:
- Meeting and welcoming people
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To greet with a cheerful smile.
- To create a comfortable atmosphere for people.
- To assist pastors/leaders as and when needed.
- To lead members to their seat.
- To assist in church programmes as and when needed.
Commitment:
- At least twice a month
General Tea Team
We love connecting with people over food (well, we love food in general!)
Purpose:
- To serve refreshments after service
- To foster bonding and fellowship among church members
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare food/beverage preparation for the weekly Sunday general tea and special church events
- Clean up the general tea area
Commitment:
- Once a month (may vary, depending on the size of the team and church events)
Hospitality Hosts
We have a passion to connect with people and to see them integrated into the larger church family.
Purpose:
- To connect with newcomers after service
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be friendly, hospitable and smiley, and have a heart for people
- Have conversations with newcomers and have a listening ear
- Share the gospel message and pray for people when necessary
- Do follow-up (when necessary)
Commitment:
- Once every 3 or 4 weeks
